Admission committee

The admissions committee is a structural division of the University. The main goal of the admissions committee is to organize an admission company: to accept documents of applicants to the University and ensure their admission to the educational institution.

The main work of the admissions committee is to develop admission rules for the current academic year.

The admissions committee periodically organizes the reception of citizens, answers oral and electronic questions of future applicants. Prepares reference books and booklets related to admission, advertising prospectus for publication; decorates the stands of the admissions committee. Conducts career guidance classes and organizes preparatory courses.

Activities of the admissions committee:

- forms the composition of the subject Commission and technical staff of the admissions committee;draws up a schedule of entrance exams (tests) and consultations;
- accepts applicants ' documents;
- makes a decision on admission of applicants to the entrance exams and determining the conditions for participation in the competition;
- conducts entrance exams (tests) ;
- performs encryption and decryption of Written Exam papers received from applicants;
- Makes a list of students enrolled in the 1st year ;
-prepares a contract for paid training.
When accepting documents of applicants to the University, the representative of the admissions committee is obliged to explain and present to the applicant a license certifying the right to conduct educational activities, as well as a certificate of state accreditation, which he prepares for each training program (specialty), the issuance of state documents of higher professional education.

Functions of the admissions Committee

- solves questions about admission of applicants to the entrance tests and determines the conditions of their participation in the competition;

- conducts entrance exams (tests);

- performs encryption and decryption of written examination papers of applicants;

- generates lists for enrollment in the 1st year;

- draws up contracts for paid training.

During the reception of documents, the higher education institution, represented by a representative of the admission Committee, must acquaint the applicant with a license to conduct educational activities, as well as with a certificate of state accreditation for each area of training (specialty), which gives the right to issue a state-issued document on higher professional education.

Deadlines for accepting documents for admission to the Kazakh University of Communications: 

- for the main complex testing (CT) - from June 1 to June 20;

- for repeated complex testing (CT) - August 1-8, January 5-12;

- in magistracy and PhD doctorate - from June 20, 20 July.

- to participate in the competition for awarding state educational grants - from July 23 to July 31;

- enrollment in the number of students (in the order) for all forms of training from August 10 to August 28, to the master's degree and PhD doctoral studies - until August 25.

DOCUMENTS required for participation in UNT and complex testing:

- application on a special form;

- Certificate or diploma with the application (original);

- фото3х4, color on matte photographic paper - 2 pcs;

- a copy of the identity document;

- medical certificate form - 086U with a fluorographic photograph,

  form - 063 (information about vaccinations);

- A copy of the registration certificate (for guys).

- receipt for payment for comprehensive testing (Bank Сentrсredit or Kazpost);

Foreign citizens additionally hand over the documents translated into the state or Russian language:

1) a notarized copy of the identity document - 2 pcs);

2) certificate of nostrification of education certificates (if any);

3) a notarized copy of the certificate or diploma with the attachment-2 pcs;

4) certificate from schools;

5) having a higher education or a college diploma, provide a copy of the educational institution's license for educational activities or a copy of the accreditation certificate.

To participate in the competition for state educational grants from July 23 to July 31, the following documents are accepted:

• application on a special form;
• certificate or diploma with the application (original);
• state certificate on the delivery of UNT or CT;
• A copy of the identity document.

To participate in the competition and for training on a fee-based basis, thresholds are taken into account, that is, for each profile subjects must be at least 5 points.
