ABOUT THE CHAIR
The DEPARTMENT "Marketing and Management" carries out educational and scientific activities, the main intention of its activity is the training of professional personnel who form high-quality human capital, which can make a worthy contribution to sustainable socio-economic development and the image of the country.

The mission of the department is to provide quality education through the development of scientific and educational technologies for graduates of a new formation, capable of practical implementation of the acquired knowledge in modern conditions.

The vision of the department in the future is to gain and maintain a leading position in educational and research activities in the republican and international markets, acting in accordance with universal values, guided by internationally recognized academic criteria; take an active part in solving regional and international problems with a sense of social responsibility and contribute to the preservation and enhancement of the moral, cultural and scientific values of society, freedom of thought and tolerance.

The department conducts training in Kazakh and Russian languages in the following educational undergraduate programs 6B04104 "Management", 6B04106 "Sports Management", 6B04109 "Marketing", 6B11116 "Restaurant business and hotel business", 6B11114 "Tourism", 6B11115 "Cultural and leisure work" , and magistracy 7M04130 “Business Administration (EMBA).

The department in its activities is guided by the provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Education", the regulatory documents of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Charter and the Academic Policy of the Kazakh University of Railway Transport, the Regulations on the Department.

The educational process is provided by highly qualified teaching staff of the Department of Marketing and Management. The department carries out educational activities at a highly professional level, in accordance with state education criteria and international requirements, and makes every effort to successfully combine high-quality educational services and equal access for students to education, regardless of their property social status

The department of teaching staff conducts research work in the following areas: fundamental, applied, self-supporting (commercial) research, their effectiveness.

For the development and promotion of the scientific school of Marketing and Management, the department holds conferences, seminars, master classes and round tables of the republican and international scale.

The department has strong ties with international partners. In order to improve the quality of education and training of specialists, the department sends its students and undergraduates to partner universities for academic mobility, advanced training, short-term and long-term experience, internships and joint projects.
